Class Dojo


Dear Parents/Guardians:
We use Class Dojo in our 1st grade classroom.  Through Class Dojo, you will have access to your child’s weekly behavior report, updated daily.  Log on at www.classdojo.com/parent.  You will need the code that you got at open house.  I have all of the codes if you have misplaced yours.  You may look at this report at anytime during the week.  Scrolling to the bottom of the report will show you the specific positive and negative behaviors that your child displayed during the day.  A list and explanation of these behaviors is listed below.

Positive

Personal Best:
Show respect to all others-kindness, politeness, listening
Show your best effort-nice handwriting and try your best

Accountability:
Be ready to learn-listening, eye contact, have materials
Follow adult directions and routine
Use correct voice levels
Hand homework in on time-the next day

Teamwork:
Participate in class-raise hand and try to answer questions
Use manners and be kind-polite, considerate
Help others

Honesty:
Do what is right even when no one is looking
Do your own work
Tell the truth

Needs Work

Personal Best:
Disrespect-talking back, work refusal
Sloppy or incomplete work-unfinished, no name, sloppy

Accountability:
Off task-engaging in a different activity than expected
Didn't follow directions or routine-didn't do what was told
Blurting answers/Talking

Teamwork:
Class disruption-teacher has to stop to correct behavior
Unkind words or actions-mean to others

Honesty:
Cheating-looking at others' papers for answers
Lying
